This whole not having books thing is going to kill me. My heart rate goes up when I see a bookstore in a movie, or walk by one on my way somewhere. It's not just the lack of reading, it's the luxurious feeling of being surrounded by all those words and thoughts, and being able to look up quotes at a moments notice. It's seeing them on the shelf and knowing that they are all mine, to peruse as I will. I leave Seattle in 52 days.
